Dr. Flowers MCAT – LMSA Scholarship Guidelines

Dear LMSA Pre-Medical Student Member:

LMSA is proud to provide our Pre-Medical Student Members 10 scholarships to the Dr. Flowers MCAT online review course. The value of this 6 month personalized online review course is $595. Two scholarships will be awarded in each of the five LMSA Regions. If there are not enough applicants for a particular region, then more than two scholarships may be distributed to a given region…

Application Deadlines:

November 1, 2010
February 26th, 2010

In order to qualify for the LMSA Dr. Flowers MCAT Scholarship you must:

1. Register on-line as a Pre-Medical LMSA member => CLICK HERE
2. Demonstrate a history of leadership and/or service to the Latino Community
3. Be in good academic standing at your undergraduate institution

Requirements for a complete application:

1. Complete online application: CLICK HERE

2. Email Essay (Minimum 500 words. Maximum 800 words)

You may pick one or use all of the 3 questions below to guide your essay:
1) What does being a “Latina/o physician” mean to you?
2) How do you plan to serve the Latino community in the future?
3) Where does your desire to become a physician come from?

Scholarship Winners

If your application is chosen, you will be contacted via email to submit the following for verification purposes:

1. Submission of Undergraduate Transcript
